Construction Management Intern
Assist project managers with construction plan review, schedule monitoring, and project documentation.

About the Role
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, codes, shop drawings, submittals, and ensure compliance by contractor. • Review and interpret control measures and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. • Support close-out of all necessary documentation on project (Owner, Engineer, and Contract), including but not limited to: • Work is performed in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan (HASP) and OSHA standards. • Manage changes in the work when requested by Owner and/or the Resident Engineer. • Receive, inspect, and approve equipment/materials stored on and off site for payment as well as materials used in site construction against submittals and check and verify the installation of materials and equipment. • Monitor complex construction schedules and ensure compliance to schedule of all subcontractors by performing weekly coordination meetings and three (3) weeks look ahead updates to ensure timely completion of the work. • Aid in the preparation and execution of programs for testing materials and equipment and for the start-up of project systems.

What You Bring
• Have a valid driver license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites. • Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks. • Be willing to work overtime and travel out of town weekly. • Possess solid technical and problem-solving skills. • Be able to lift at least 30 lbs. • Must be at least 18 years old • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
