About the Role
The Relocation Agent II role is based in Jackson, Tennessee and supports infrastructure projects by managing displacement matters. You will work closely with project managers, senior relocation staff, and clients to develop relocation strategies, coordinate vendor services, and ensure compliance with federal and state assistance regulations. The position demands accurate documentation, timely entitlement calculations, and the ability to recognize when issues need escalation. • Provide equitable relocation advisory services to displaced individuals. • Draft relocation plans identifying affected parties, needs, replacement options, and entitlement estimates. • Coordinate with commercial movers and vendors, secure estimates, and conduct on‑site inspections. • Research records and perform market analyses of comparable dwellings to determine entitlements. • Calculate estimated and actual relocation entitlements and prepare recommendation reports for client approval. • Maintain accurate relocation files and diaries in compliance with federal and state regulations. • Collaborate with the Project Manager, Senior RES Relocation Agent, and client to meet project timelines. • Escalate complex relocation issues to senior staff when necessary.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least two years of experience delivering relocation advisory services and hold—or be able to obtain within a year—an RWA or RWP certification. A solid understanding of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act, as well as the ability to interpret real‑estate and appraisal documents, is essential. Preferred qualifications include six or more years of right‑of‑way experience, relevant professional certifications, TDOT pre‑qualification, and experience training others in relocation practices. • Minimum two years of experience providing residential and non‑residential relocation advisory services. • Hold an RWA or RWP designation, or ability to obtain certification within one year. • Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act and related state/local regulations. • Ability to interpret real‑estate documents such as title reports, design and construction plans, and appraisal reports. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient with MS Office Suite; familiarity with databases, ProjectWise, and GIS is a plus. • Preferred: six or more years of right‑of‑way experience and relevant professional certifications (RWP, RW‑RAC, etc.). • Preferred: TDOT pre‑qualification, experience with FWHA, FTA, and DOT policies, and ability to train others in relocation practices. • Preferred: experience in title research, acquisition, closing, and eligibility to become a notary public within six months.
