About the Role

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with standards such as MAA MRP145, AS9100 and AS9110, taking part in defence audit programmes and guiding external auditors, and supporting the resolution of quality notifications, MARS investigations and audit non‑conformance reports. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to improve right‑first‑time outcomes, reduce the cost of non‑quality, and use visual management to communicate activities and achievements. • Provide quality assurance for OEM manufacturing and repair activities in defence programmes. • Ensure compliance with UK MoD, MAA MRP145, AS9100 and AS9110 standards. • Participate in defence audit programmes and support external auditors. • Resolve quality notifications, MARS investigations, and audit non‑conformance reports. • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve right‑first‑time performance and reduce non‑quality costs. • Use visual management tools to communicate activities and achievements.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a professionally qualified engineering degree (minimum HND/foundation degree or equivalent) and experience in non‑conformance management and problem‑resolution processes (8D preferred). Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills, data‑driven decision making and the ability to work within a safety‑managed environment. Preferred credentials include Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, internal audit/lead auditor qualification, MRP/EASA Part‑145 experience and knowledge of safety management systems. • Hold a professionally qualified engineering degree (minimum HND) or equivalent. • Experience with non‑conformance management and 8D problem‑resolution processes. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, influencing, and data‑driven decision‑making skills. • Preferred: Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt, Lead Auditor qualification, MRP/EASA Part‑145 experience, and safety management system knowledge.
