Job Highlights
About the Role
The role is based full‑time at the Derby facility, providing direct access to the Submarines engineering hub. • Deliver electrical designs for safety‑critical submarine equipment on fast‑paced projects. • Perform end‑to‑end design tasks, from scoping and concept creation to authoring substantiation and safety documentation. • Support procurement, manufacturing, testing and supply of components throughout the product lifecycle. • Produce technical reports, operating manuals and other documentation to high standards. • Ensure delivery meets cost, specification and programme targets. • Collaborate with project engineers and multi‑discipline teams to develop detailed plans and cost estimates. • Apply electrical controls and instrumentation design expertise following established design principles.

What You Bring
