About the Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager sits within the Global Design and Construction team of over 200 professionals that deliver more than 70 projects worldwide each year, representing over $2 billion in capital expenditures. This role directs day‑to‑day activities of Construction/Operation Project Managers, mentors junior staff, and makes tactical decisions to resolve project issues while managing costs, methods, and team selection to meet schedules and goals. The manager is responsible for all phases of data‑center construction—including ground‑up builds, fit‑outs, and remodels—from inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and hand‑over. They coordinate internal partners (Design, Procurement, Operations, Security, IT/Network) and external vendors such as contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, and equipment suppliers, while ensuring a safety‑first, quality‑first culture and compliance with codes and standards. • Guide and set goals for Construction/Operations Project Managers. • Manage multiple smaller projects or a single large construction project from concept through hand‑over. • Lead safety, quality, and compliance standards; monitor progress, risk registers, and building regulations. • Direct external vendors (general contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers) and maintain high‑value relationships. • Develop and support cross‑functional training programs. • Oversee contract administration: creation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and cost forecasts. • Lead internal and external project teams, mentoring junior members as needed. • Maintain and improve best‑in‑class policies, procedures, and project closure/lessons‑learned processes.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field and bring typically ten or more years of construction project management experience in critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, pharmaceuticals, or biotech. The position is based in Dallas, TX, requiring on‑site presence at the office or job sites a minimum of three days per week, and the ideal candidate is customer‑focused, self‑motivated, and versed in statutory regulations and industry best practices. • Require a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management plus 10+ years of critical infrastructure construction experience. • Must work on‑site in Dallas, TX at least three days per week; be customer‑focused, self‑motivated, and knowledgeable of statutory regulations. • Preferred proficiency with Microsoft Project and experience developing new data center projects.
