About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will direct overall engineering and design for both conventional and design‑build road and highway projects, supervising the civil design team to meet technical deliverables and project schedules from design through construction. Leveraging technical expertise, the manager ensures the highest quality engineering, engages clients, and helps grow the business by identifying new opportunities and participating in proposals. • Manage engineering and design efforts for both conventional and design‑build road and highway projects. • Lead the civil design team to achieve technical deliverables and adhere to schedule milestones. • Guarantee engineering quality and compliance with CTDOT and MassDOT design standards. • Act as primary client liaison, delivering comprehensive roadway solutions and supporting business development. • Identify new regional opportunities, contribute to proposal creation, and expand market presence.

What You Bring

• Hold a 4‑year degree in civil engineering or project management and a PE license in Connecticut or Massachusetts. • Bring 15+ years of design and project‑management experience on heavy transportation infrastructure projects. • Demonstrated success delivering road/highway projects under CTDOT/MassDOT criteria, including design‑build execution. • Meet Parsons’ project‑management certification requirements and possess strong communication skills.
