About the Role
The role includes diagnosing and fixing a variety of plumbing issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, accurately recording work using handheld devices, and maintaining tools, equipment and the company vehicle. Participation in an out‑of‑hours emergency rota may be required. • Perform responsive plumbing repairs in occupied social housing, including fixing leaks, blockages and drainage issues. • Replace and install sanitary ware such as taps, toilets, basins and bath panels. • Repair or replace pipework, valves, fittings and investigate hot‑water systems and radiators. • Ensure all work complies with current plumbing regulations and health‑and‑safety standards; record work using handheld devices. • Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle in good working order; adhere to the out‑of‑hours emergency rota. • Provide high levels of customer service while working respectfully in residents' homes.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced plumber to join our expanding team on a busy responsive repairs contract for occupied social housing in Brighton. This practical, hands‑on role involves maintaining homes to a high standard and interacting directly with residents, requiring professionalism and strong customer‑service skills. Candidates must have proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs, carpentry maintenance, a full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently. Strong fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and communication skills are essential, as is willingness to join the out‑of‑hours rota. Benefits
Annual salary up to £38,000 per annum plus a company van, fuel card and a 42.5‑hour out‑of‑hours rota. The position is full‑time permanent, based in Brighton, working 8‑5 Monday‑Friday.
