What You Bring
This position is the second level of the Designer classification. The incumbent provides technical expertise to solve complex problems within a specific area of expertise while working under some supervision. They are expected to develop advanced skills and operate with greater independence. • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing. • Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (or equivalent) or 2‑4 years experience with an Associate Degree, or 5‑10 years relevant experience without a degree. • Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. • Ability to work with individuals from diverse socio‑economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Self‑motivated and able to work independently. • Team‑oriented and customer‑focused. • Capable of managing multiple tasks and leading team members. • Experience in the utility industry.
