About the Role
This is a maintenance position with no per diem. The Material Handler will receive, inventory, store, and issue materials, handle tracking and control, and work with equipment inspections ranging from power tools to safety gear. • Receive, count, and track stock items for inventory control. • Unpack delivered goods and store them in appropriate locations. • Notify or deliver items to the correct department upon arrival. • Maintain continuous inventory updates and control. • Store items orderly in warehouses, tool rooms, or supply areas. • Label goods using tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment. • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas for safety compliance. • Determine proper storage methods based on turnover, environment, and facility capabilities. • Record usage or damage of stock and handling equipment. • Inspect stock for wear or defects and report any damage. • Assist or direct other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. • Accurately count received items and maintain organized records. • Follow directions and use hand tools (hammers, drills) for crated materials.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least four years of experience in industrial construction, maintenance, or turnaround projects in a warehouse or material handler role, possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, meet all physical requirements, and have reliable transportation. • Have 4+ years of industrial construction warehouse experience. • Possess working knowledge of basic construction processes and equipment. • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills. • Familiar with basic computer operations; SAP experience required. • Hold a valid TWIC card and reliable transportation; flexible schedule. • Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience and ability to read instructions. • Team player with strong communication and commitment to Zachry safety values. • Experience with industrial hand and power tools (preferred). • Prior Zachry employment or similar experience is valued. • Formal education or certification in construction, technical, or trade fields valued. • Knowledge of inventory control, kitting, material expediting, and forklift operation is a plus. • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
