HSSE Lead, PDS Singapore

About the Role

The Head of HSSE for Singapore will lead the implementation of the PDS SEA HSSE strategy, aligning it with senior management and regional support. This role is responsible for fostering a safe work culture, upholding global HSE and sustainability policies, and driving HSSE engagement through training, inspections, audits, and mentorship. It also oversees the HSSE elements of the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance and certification across the SEA region. Performance objectives include establishing effective project structures, leading consultants and contractors, and representing client interests from inception to completion. The incumbent must ensure timely HSSE reporting, risk mitigation, and quality control while leveraging JLL technology such as AdaptiveWork and Project Toolkit. Business outcomes focus on continuous improvement of HSSE performance, support for project development services, and contribution to winning new work through EOI and proposal preparation. • Implement and align the Singapore PDS HSSE strategy with senior management and regional goals. • Promote a safe work culture and enforce JLL Global HSE, Sustainability, and related standards. • Lead HSSE training, inspections, audits, and mentorship programs across the business. • Manage the HSSE components of the Integrated Management System and ensure ISO certification compliance. • Oversee HSSE risk, contractor, and incident management systems, including CMO investigations. • Develop and deliver PDS HSSE performance metrics and reporting to senior leadership. • Coordinate HSSE content for internal/external websites and contribute to RFP proposals. • Supervise in‑country HSSE professionals and drive industry recognition and awards. • Establish project governance structures, risk mitigation plans, and quality control for HSSE. • Utilize JLL technology platforms (AdaptiveWork, Jaggaer, DoneSafe, Project Toolkit) for project delivery. • Coach and develop staff, set measurable objectives, and model JLL’s values of teamwork, ethics, and excellence.
