About the Role

What You Bring
The company is hiring a Commercial Drywall and Framing Mechanic for Kings Bay Naval Base in Georgia to perform skilled carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall work using hand and power tools while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient job site. Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma or GED, have five or more years of carpentry experience (including rough and finish work), and at least two years in commercial construction, with preferred experience in steel framing, ACT ceilings, and a range of safety certifications such as OSHA and fall protection. RQC is an equal‑opportunity employer; all applicants must provide proof of identity and U.S. work authorization, pass a drug screen, and clear a Department of Defense background check before being granted access to the base. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; possess 5+ years carpentry experience. • Bring at least 2 years of commercial construction field work, preferably on government or large‑scale projects. • Demonstrate experience with steel framing; ACT experience is a plus. • Obtain relevant certifications such as CPR/First Aid, forklift, OSHA 10/30‑hour, EM‑385, fall protection, and confined space training.

Benefits
All work will be performed on the military installation and compensated at the Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage of $26.00‑$30.00 per hour, plus benefits that include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with match, and one week of vacation and sick leave. • Earn $26‑$30 per hour based on Davis‑Bacon wage rates. • Receive medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) with matching contributions. • Accrue one week of vacation and sick time annually.
