About the Role

Mortenson is currently seeking a Solar Electrical Foreman who will be responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for maintenance and installation of electrical systems. The role also provides oversight to electrical craft team members. • Provide shift supervision for the assembly/manufacturing team members • Lead production team members with an intense focus on safety and quality while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and internal company policies • Develop work instructions and cross‑training plans • Provide on‑the‑job training and lead by example • Drive continuous improvement of plant key performance indicators (Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Cost) • Adjust schedules and workload balance as required by the operation • Monitor supply inventory levels and coordinate reordering as necessary • Utilize lean methodologies and tools to accomplish production goals • Take ownership of functions and be responsible for the facility • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lb; over 50 lb requires assistance from a team member or equipment
