What You Bring
The Finisher must possess strong basic knowledge of concrete pouring, leveling, forming, and troweling, including the use of a troweling machine. They must also understand all safety hazards associated with the work and be able to safely operate related tools and equipment. The role involves working in plant operations or on construction job sites. Physical demands include the ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lb regularly and up to 100 lb occasionally, with repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs. The worker must have good hand‑eye coordination, be able to operate electric, gas, and pneumatic tools, and climb or balance on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, and scaffolds. Tasks may require prolonged bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, reaching, squatting, and standing on uneven, muddy, or loose surfaces, as well as working in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions. Mental requirements involve clear communication with supervisors, reading and writing comprehension for directions and safety policies, and basic math skills for calculations.
