What You Bring
The Designer 4 position is the fourth level within the Designer classification, requiring advanced technical expertise and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Incumbents are expected to lead complex projects, provide guidance in their specialty area, and continuously improve their technical and professional knowledge. • 8+ years experience with BS in Engineering Technology, or 10+ years with Associate degree, or 15+ years experience without degree. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. • Experience in the utility industry. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work with diverse individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. • Self‑motivated and able to work independently. • Team‑oriented and customer‑focused. • Capable of managing multiple tasks and leading team members. • Skilled in project management principles.
