About the Role

• Review construction activities for contract compliance and document findings in Field Observation Reports. • Coordinate on‑site structural work with architectural Contract Administrator and discipline leads. • Manage submittals to ensure timely review and return to construction manager and contractors. • Monitor independent testing and inspection agencies for compliance with project requirements and structural standards. • Respond to RFIs with clear, precise answers aligned with structural intent and contract documents. • Prepare Site Instructions and Construction Bulletins to guide construction changes and field decisions. • Review structural‑related claims and support dispute resolution processes. • Participate in constructability reviews to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements. • Liaise regularly with PSPC, Construction Manager, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. • Identify potential project risks and escalate them to the Senior Contract Administrator.

What You Bring

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in civil engineering with a structural focus; P.Eng. designation desirable. • Minimum 5 years experience as a structural Contract Administrator on large building projects; heritage or fast‑tracked project experience an asset. • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and CSA standards for steel, concrete, and masonry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam; Revit experience is an asset. • Effective written and verbal communication; French language skills considered an asset. • Eligibility for Federal Government Enhanced Reliability Clearance (five years Canadian residency).
