About the Role
The Associate Account Manager maintains and retains relationships with existing commercial and industrial waste customers in a defined territory. The role involves making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, and increasing penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products. Daily, the AAM proactively contacts customers, develops deep knowledge of services, pricing, and lines of business, and offers additional services. Responsibilities include contract renewals, handling cancellation requests per escalation policy, supporting pricing initiatives, documenting activities in Salesforce, capturing emails, minimizing rate restrictions and credits, and meeting regularly with the Sales Manager to review retention metrics.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of customer service experience. Preferred qualifications are waste or transportation industry experience, bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, and residency in Texas.
