About the Role

• Ensure quality and environmental aspects are addressed throughout project delivery. • Record non-conformances and initiate corrective actions promptly. • Complete outstanding defects according to program schedule. • Prepare Inspection Test Reports and checklists reflecting contract requirements. • Support planning of materials, resources, components and construction practices to achieve value for money and best practice. • Assist Project Engineer in developing and monitoring construction planning documents. • Monitor project schedule, progress and coordinate activities. • Prepare project status reports and change orders. • Assess daily progress and develop plans for daily cost planning meetings. • Ensure contract requirements are met at the work‑crew level. • Coordinate resource allocation, promote teamwork and a positive attitude toward organisational objectives. • Track subcontractor resources daily and record accurately. • Prepare cost plans/resources for daily cost planning meetings.

What You Bring

The project is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer – Electrical to join the growing Energy Hubs and Substations teams and contribute expertise to the development of this critical infrastructure. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. • Tier 1 contractor experience on large‑scale projects (preferred). • 0–3 years post‑graduate experience in construction/engineering environment. • Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly (verbal and written). • Competence in planning, organising work schedules and meeting regulatory requirements. • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HS&E) standards and implementation. • Experience establishing and stewarding delivery work plans. • Willingness to work drive‑in/drive‑out, camp‑style roster (14 days onsite, 7 days off).
