About the Role
The successful candidate will lead utility‑scale wind and solar projects, overseeing all civil, electrical, substation, transmission, SCADA, structural, geotechnical, and survey design activities. They will manage a team of at least three project managers and assistant project managers, coordinate schedules, budgets, and information flow, and build strong client relationships while ensuring responsive support beyond regular hours. • Lead utility‑scale wind and solar projects, directing civil, electrical, substation, transmission, SCADA, structural, geotechnical, and survey designs. • Manage a minimum of three project managers and assistant project managers, overseeing schedules, budgets, and information flow. • Develop proposals, technical specifications, and coordinate designers and drafters on drawing requirements. • Build and maintain client relationships, set clear expectations, and provide responsive support beyond normal work hours. • Interface with multidisciplinary internal and external teams, including engineers, drafters, and support organizations. • Perform value engineering, monitor design costs, and ensure client expectations are clearly communicated. • Review contracts, project accounting, and billing while mentoring project coordinators and managers.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a licensed Professional Engineer status with a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering focused on renewable energy, and bring at least eight years of multidisciplinary engineering consulting experience. Required qualifications include project management experience in wind and PV solar systems, PMP certification, battery storage or construction background, strong communication and mentoring skills, and proficiency with client management software and Microsoft Project. • Hold a licensed Professional Engineer status with a bachelor's or master's degree in renewable‑energy‑focused engineering. • Possess at least eight years of engineering consulting experience across electrical, civil, substation, transmission, solar, and wind disciplines. • Demonstrate project management experience in renewable energy systems, PMP certification, and experience with battery storage or construction. • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor project teams. • Proficient in client management software and Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource planning.

Benefits
RRC International is hiring for a full‑time position located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. The role offers a competitive salary range of $165,000 to $175,000.
