About the Role

In this position, the manager leads the center’s marketing efforts, overseeing the creation and monitoring of the marketing budget, and developing an annual plan that aligns with strategic objectives. Responsibilities include designing sales promotions, special events, and communication strategies to drive tenant sales, while partnering with key retailers to maximize their individual performance. The role also manages the property’s digital media programs, such as social media, mobile, and web platforms, and utilizes market and consumer research to inform strategies and support leasing activities. It involves producing compelling sales materials, tracking retailer sales trends, identifying ancillary revenue opportunities, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the trade area and competitors. Leadership duties include serving on regional taskforces, providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff, and managing day‑to‑day operations of the Customer Service Center where applicable. The manager is expected to foster a high‑performing team environment and support professional development throughout the year. • Create and manage the annual marketing budget, monitor spending, and reforecast as needed. • Develop the yearly marketing plan aligned with the property’s strategic goals. • Design and execute sales promotions, special events, and communication campaigns to boost tenant sales. • Partner with tenants, especially key retailers, to coordinate promotions and visual merchandising. • Manage digital media channels, including social media, mobile, and website platforms. • Conduct market and consumer research to inform marketing strategies and support leasing efforts. • Produce compelling sales materials and collaborate with the leasing team. • Track retailer sales performance, analyze trends, and identify ancillary revenue opportunities. • Represent the property in community activities and execute public‑relations initiatives such as press releases. • Ensure compliance with JLL’s Core Practices, corporate policies, and event procedures. • Lead and coach team members, provide feedback, and participate in regional taskforces. • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Customer Service Center where applicable.

What You Bring

Collaboration with the property team and regional resources is essential to achieve client‑driven business goals while adhering to JLL’s Core Practices and corporate policies. The manager communicates performance results, such as sales narratives and retailer reports, to the client and internal stakeholders, and handles special assignments as directed by senior leadership. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred) and possess 3–5 years of experience in retail marketing, advertising, or a comparable business area. Event planning, social‑media promotion, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, budget management, and sales/negotiation abilities are required, along with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (preferred). • 3–5 years experience in retail marketing, advertising or comparable roles. • Event planning and social‑media promotion experience. • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. • Proven budget management and sales/negotiation abilities. • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
