Senior Manager Product Owner

About the Role

The Product Line Owner collaborates with multiple product teams, including analysts, engineers, and other members, to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and represent the voice of the customer across relevant portfolios and business units. • Working closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team. • Tracking and managing product funding while defining work priorities for the product team. • Balancing new features with continuous improvement, system health, and support. • Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and epics, working with senior leaders to craft strategic business objectives and enterprise-spanning plans to meet customer and business needs. • Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work. • Plan, manage, and track product funding. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan. • Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys. • Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with those key stakeholders. • Communicate goals for product increments and releases.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications require a bachelor's degree and extensive experience, including at least ten years in complex technology projects and seven years as a Product Owner, along with U.S. work authorization and location constraints; the role involves access to export‑controlled information. • Communicating strategy and status effectively at the C level. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an analyst, BRM, project manager, engineer or program lead on highly complex technology projects and programs. • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent position. • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. • Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH: Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC will be considered. • This position requires access to export‑controlled information. • Expertise with product management and modern product delivery processes. • Strong understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams. • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles. • Strong understanding of modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services. • Strong knowledge of and experience working with design thinking methodologies. • Expertise with creation and management of product roadmaps. • Strong understanding of lean principles with respect to product and portfolio management. • Data orientation and ability to make data‑driven decisions. • Comfortable working directly with business leaders, external customers, and engineering teams. • Proven ability to drive change across organizational boundaries. • Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams.
