About the Role
Define and execute the vision for the Land Development practice, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, positioning the firm as a trusted partner, and drive business development to secure new opportunities. Supervise design projects, ensure quality and timeliness, lead and mentor a high‑performing team, manage profitability, resource allocation, and uphold operational excellence. • Craft and execute a bold vision for growth of the Land Development practice. • Lead business development to win work from new and existing clients. • Deliver high‑quality, profitable services while mentoring staff. • Receive full support in accounting, administration, marketing, recruiting, IT, and production. • Define practice strategy, ensure sustainable growth and innovation. • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted partner. • Supervise design projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and technical oversight. • Lead and mentor a high‑performing team fostering collaboration. • Manage project profitability, resource allocation, and seamless staff transitions.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has over 10 years of civil engineering design and management experience in Land Development, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and a PE license. They possess extensive client contacts, strong AutoCAD Civil3D skills, proven business development and marketing abilities, and excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills. They are able to mentor staff, manage projects profitably, and engage positively with clients. • Hold a PE license with 10+ years civil engineering/land development experience. • Possess extensive client contacts and strong AutoCAD Civil3D skills. • Demonstrated business development, proposal writing, and budgeting abilities. • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical competencies.
