About the Role

The Superintendent leads, directs and coordinates subcontractors and Turner trade labor, ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality, and budget adherence. They supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor in their area of responsibility. • Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing levels for assigned trades. • Coordinate work among trades and resolve procedural, design, labor, and equipment issues. • Manage the site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety regulations. • Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns, including performance appraisals. • Create schedules, determine work sequencing, and implement recovery strategies to maintain the project timeline. • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers to address and resolve field issues. • Manage billing processes, including work‑in‑place estimates, payroll, material invoices, and subcontractor payments. • Ensure installed work complies with approved contracts, drawings, and specifications.

What You Bring

The role is based in the Indianapolis division, with the project located in Lebanon, IN 46052. It is a regular, experienced, salaried exempt position within the Construction job family. A bachelor’s degree and at least four years of related experience are required. Candidates must have knowledge of building construction, scheduling, cost control, contract documents, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EH&S applications. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and document‑interpretation skills are essential. The position requires occasional physical activities such as climbing stairs and ladders, using construction hoists, and lifting up to 50 lb. The work environment is on‑site at construction locations, exposing the employee to moving machinery, heights, fumes, weather conditions, and noise ranging from moderate to very loud.
