About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering courteous waste removal services. The role requires ensuring the vehicle meets company safety standards, adhering to all state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following assigned routes, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of waste at designated facilities. The driver must interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, clean accidental spills, and keep the vehicle clean and operational at all times. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Operate collection truck on designated routes, load, compact, and dispose of waste • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and crew to ensure timely service • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers; monitor waste for violations • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness on each disposal trip • Complete route sheets, productivity reports, and daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) • Meet department productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies, including ReSOP participation

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Class B or higher commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement.
