Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property managers work independently across multiple locations, both inside and outside the facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, suggest appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and handling payment reminders and collection calls. • Assess customers' storage needs and recommend solutions, including selling moving supplies. • Perform daily unit inspections to verify inventory and availability. • Audit cash drawers and complete bank deposits. • Conduct payment reminder and collection calls. • Lift and move items up to 35 lb; spend up to 50 % of time walking outdoors. • Perform cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and exterior ground maintenance.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds and to spend up to half of the workday walking around outdoor environments, climbing stairs, and opening large doors. Managers also perform routine cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and exterior ground maintenance to keep properties presentable. Candidates should have experience in customer‑service‑focused sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or fast‑food operations.
