Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently at multiple locations, both inside and outdoors. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and handling payment reminders and collections. Additional tasks involve cleaning, routine maintenance, and maintaining curb appeal. The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 lb and to spend up to 50% of the shift walking in and around facilities, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Outdoor work includes maintaining exterior grounds and debris removal. • Assess customer storage needs and recommend solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies. • Conduct daily inspections of storage units to confirm inventory and availability. • Audit cash drawers and prepare bank deposits each day. • Perform payment reminder and collection calls to keep accounts current. • Clean interior areas, sweep/mop floors, and maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal. • Lift or move items up to 35 lb and walk on-site up to 50% of the shift, including stairs and large doors. • Provide own transportation with a valid driver’s license; mileage reimbursed for travel between locations.
