About the Role

The Project Engineer (Civil) is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and project timelines while supporting the Project Manager in daily operations, vendor coordination, documentation and site supervision. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily site work, coordinating contractors and labour, monitoring schedule adherence, reviewing drawings and specifications, maintaining progress and material reports, managing quality and safety compliance, tracking material consumption, and facilitating communication among architects, consultants and clients. • Oversee daily site activities, ensuring work follows drawings and specifications. • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site labor for smooth workflow. • Monitor progress against schedules and project milestones. • Review construction drawings, BOQs, method statements, and technical specifications. • Prepare daily progress reports, material issue reports, and other site documentation. • Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with codes and standards. • Enforce site safety protocols and monitor safety practices. • Track material consumption, verify receipt quality, and maintain stock records. • Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues. • Support project planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation activities. • Apply civil engineering principles and construction methods on site. • Utilize AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office for project tasks. • Follow IS quality standards and safety practices. • Communicate effectively and coordinate among stakeholders. • Solve problems, attend to detail, and multitask under deadlines.

What You Bring

Required competencies comprise strong civil engineering knowledge, familiarity with construction methods, proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera and MS Office, and a solid understanding of IS quality standards and safety practices, complemented by excellent communication, problem‑solving, attention to detail and multitasking abilities. Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering and possess six to eight years of experience in the civil construction industry. • Hold a civil engineering degree and 6‑8 years of civil construction experience.
