About the Role

The role is responsible for monitoring installations to ensure work complies with company standards and contracts, using company crews efficiently, and collaborating with the foreman in managing project portions and employees. The position oversees productivity, safety, quality control, scheduling, material procurement, and any activity affecting successful project completion. This is a safety‑sensitive position. • Be courteous and cordial to customers. • Ensure work meets NEC, federal, state, county, and local codes. • Ensure proper materials are on site and received. • Manage crew productivity and time efficiently. • Establish high performance and quality standards. • Set project goals and monitor progress. • Utilize the Prefab shop fully. • Lead enthusiastically and motivate crew. • Ensure crew starts on time daily. • Maintain legally required 10‑minute rest and 30‑minute lunch breaks. • Keep complete and accurate daily/weekly “as‑builts.” • Follow Bergelectric’s Employee Handbook. • Implement safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

What You Bring

The job requires lifting up to 50 lb, pulling comparable forces, climbing ladders, and performing tasks such as wire and conduit pulling while wearing a 25 lb tool belt. Employees must squat, stoop, kneel, stand for long periods, and work from ladders, man lifts, or reach‑booms in varied weather conditions and high‑noise environments. • Understand assigned project portion thoroughly. • Communicate effectively with foreman and crew. • Anticipate problems and act proactively. • Completed electrical construction apprenticeship, hold a valid state electrician license, or have 4 years journeyman experience (or equivalent). • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, installation methods, and basic electricity principles. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to analyze problems, collect data, draw conclusions, and prioritize tasks. • Proficient in reading technical instructions and electrical drawings; skilled in basic math and electrical formulas. • Detail‑oriented with ability to visualize and sketch layouts. • Skilled with industry tools and equipment; basic mechanical abilities. • Able to work safely using ladders, man lifts, and reach‑booms.
