Facilities Supervisor - Stationary Engineer

About the Role
• Responds to emergency calls, working with the police, fire, and emergency service crews to protect company property and employees. • Serves as a working supervisor for assigned personnel, providing guidance on daily tasks. Develops work schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies. Monitors the performance of assigned staff, including subcontractors. Collaborates with managers on disciplinary matters and conducts performance management discussions. • Serves as a leader on the project and may be the point of contact for customers on site. • Keeps records of safety, health and environmental issues each working day. Ensures the work crew follows all company and customer safety practices and fully utilizes the assigned Personal Protective Equipment each work day. • Performs a monthly quality and safety walk-through of the entire site with a customer direct report or as needed. Works with the designated Site Safety Technician to initiate safety topics and ensure bi-weekly safety meetings are conducted and that the required attendance sheets are completed and on file. • Reads and provides interpretations to all compliance requirements, blueprints, schematics, O&M manuals and specifications to ensure standardization of work. • Covers defined shifts and performs maintenance and operational duties as required to assure contract compliance. • Plans and supervises service delivery to customers, providing hands-on support and training to direct reports, client staff, and contractors. Responds promptly to facility service requests and ensures thorough evaluation of repairs and maintenance.

What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management or related field is a plus. High School diploma or GED required as a foundation for success in this role. Good analytical/critical thinking. Current 1st Grade Stionary Engineer license. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management or a related field. Demonstrated track record as a Facilities Supervisor or in a similar role. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
