Job Highlights
About the Role
As a key part of our team, you'll travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region. Your day will involve essential tasks like inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels (including leading tank chlorinations), installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves, and conducting routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2. This means you'll be flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and performing crucial sampling for closed water systems. You'll also expertly use our SimPRO system to manage your workload, and your ability to spot problems and proactively find solutions, combined with detailed knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274, will be vital in maintaining our professional and compliant reputation. A full, clean UK driving licence and City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training (or equivalent experience) are required. • Travel to customer sites to ensure water system safety and compliance. • Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including tank chlorination. • Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves. • Perform routine monitoring per HSG 274 Part 2 (flush outlets, monitor temperatures, descale showerheads, flush pressure vessels, sample closed systems). • Use SimPRO system to manage workload efficiently. • Identify problems and proactively implement solutions. • Apply detailed knowledge of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274 standards. • Access a full technology package to support field work.
