About the Role

The Virtual Design Construction (VDC) Specialist will learn JE Dunn’s processes and tools, develop professional skills, and deliver consistent value‑add services to project teams and internal customers. The role focuses on routine VDC activities such as base modeling, model coordination, and assembling model content using a variety of technologies. • Provide and assemble 3D models and documentation required by VDC leadership and project teams. • Maintain a productive BIM process and incorporate design updates into project models. • Create and manage project documentation such as meeting agendas, minutes, and constraint logs. • Support the RFI process for BIM‑related items and manage self‑perform model layout. • Analyze construction documents and models for errors, making corrections as needed. • Build and maintain working relationships with subcontractors and internal project teams. • Set up project‑specific VDC technology to support delivery strategies. • Read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and BIM requirements.

What You Bring

This position has a defined career path toward Senior Virtual Design Construction Specialist. • Proficiency with Autodesk BIM 360 Glue, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Design Collaboration, Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP), Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Trimble Sketch‑Up, and Bluebeam. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency in MS Office. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. • 0–2 years of construction experience or relevant internship/co‑op experience.
