About the Role

The Quality Engineer ensures operational excellence across quality systems, audits, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role drives compliance with global standards, leads risk management activities, and provides data‑driven insights to support strategic decisions while communicating effectively across all organizational levels and with external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include leading internal and external audits, developing SOPs and governance frameworks, applying Lean Six Sigma and other structured problem‑solving methods, facilitating kaizen events, conducting root‑cause investigations, maintaining PFMEA and risk‑management documents, overseeing supplier quality reviews, tracking and reporting key quality metrics, supervising auditors, and acting as the primary point of contact for quality‑related stakeholder communication. • Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate and global quality standards. • Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs, audit protocols, and quality governance frameworks. • Apply DMAIC, 8D, A3, KATA, and other problem‑solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement. • Facilitate kaizen events and integrate Lean principles to eliminate waste and optimize processes. • Lead investigations of quality issues, delivery complaints, and process deviations. • Use data‑based root‑cause analysis tools to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Develop and maintain PFMEA documents, control plans, and standardized work instructions. • Assess and mitigate operational risks through robust risk‑management practices. • Lead supplier performance reviews, track top‑offender issues, and manage corrective action follow‑ups. • Track, analyze, and interpret key quality metrics (DCR, PPMMS, CoPQ, audit trends) and prepare executive dashboards. • Supervise and develop quality auditors across shifts and coach cross‑functional teams on quality processes. • Act as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on quality topics, ensuring transparent communication.

What You Bring

Success in this role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, operations, or a related field, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification, proven experience in quality engineering, compliance, audits, or logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, familiarity with PFMEA, risk assessments, ISO systems, supplier quality processes, and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI and Excel; knowledge of SAP, BFO, and Manhattan is also desirable. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Operations, or related field. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher (highly desirable). • Proven experience in quality engineering, compliance, audits, or logistics environments. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Experience with PFMEA, risk assessments, ISO systems, and supplier quality processes. • Knowledge of SAP, BFO, and Manhattan systems (desirable). • Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting platforms such as Power BI and Excel.
