About the Role

Looking to build your career and design your future? You have come to the right place. The Stone Countertop Polisher at Interior Logic Group is tasked with the final finishing of stone surfaces—granite, quartz, and marble—using both hand tools and power equipment, ensuring each countertop meets the company’s standards for smoothness, consistency, and appearance. This role works closely with fabrication and installation teams to achieve production goals while emphasizing safety, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail. Key duties include polishing and finishing stone countertops, creating edge profiles such as bullnose, bevel, ogee, and waterfall, and conducting quality inspections to identify and correct defects. The polisher also handles large stone slabs safely with cranes and dollies, sets up materials for the finishing process, and maintains polishing machines, pads, and hand tools. Continuous adherence to OSHA safety policies, proper use of personal protective equipment, and proactive communication with teammates are essential to maintaining a clean, organized workspace and meeting daily production targets. Work is performed primarily in a fabrication facility where employees are exposed to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Required personal protective equipment includes gloves, steel‑toed boots, ear protection, and respirators as needed. The role involves regular standing, bending, lifting, and the use of hand tools and machinery, all conducted under strict safety compliance. • Polish stone countertops using hand tools and power equipment to meet quality standards. • Create and refine edge profiles such as bullnose, bevel, ogee, and waterfall. • Inspect finished pieces for defects and perform touch‑ups as needed. • Safely move and position large stone slabs with cranes, dollies, and lifting equipment. • Clean, inspect, and maintain polishing machines, pads, and hand tools. • Follow OSHA safety policies and use appropriate PPE, including respirators and gloves. • Collaborate with fabricators, installers, and supervisors to meet production schedules. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and achieve daily production targets.
