About the Role

The Senior HVAC Technician serves as the technical expert responsible for maintaining and optimizing complex commercial building systems across JLL’s portfolio. Working independently within a designated territory, the role manages preventive‑maintenance programs, executes critical repairs, and mentors junior technicians to uphold operational excellence. • Maintain and troubleshoot HVACR, chiller, cooling tower, air handling, and building automation systems • Review system data and develop recommendations with the Chief Engineer • Update preventative‑maintenance procedures and documentation in a central repository • Perform preventive maintenance with minimal disruption and ensure clean work areas • Identify equipment issues and supply shortages, reporting them to the Chief Engineer • Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials and refrigerants safely • Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance

What You Bring

This role does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Minimum 10 years commercial HVAC experience with chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and BAS • EPA Universal Certification and current knowledge of HVAC codes and regulations • Strong diagnostic skills for complex mechanical and electrical systems; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces • High school diploma/GED; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred • Physical ability to lift 50 lb and work in varied environmental conditions • Preferred: proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office, training/mentoring experience, MEP code knowledge, energy‑management expertise, commercial real‑estate background
