About the Role
The Senior Account Executive role is responsible for prospecting and closing sales to new customers, developing sound selling strategies to achieve budgeted sales and profitability, and managing existing relationships through retention strategies, negotiations, and contract agreements. This is an outside sales position performed from home with required travel across the Montreal area, a valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle; occasional office days may be needed. The SAE maintains and grows billable value in assigned accounts by selling new waste streams, services, and products to current and prospective customers. Responsibilities include initiating B2B sales relationships, managing the sales pipeline and prospect database, meeting proactive account‑retention call activity goals, and executing retention calls that improve service and profitability. The role also ensures high customer satisfaction, proposes regulatory‑compliant solutions, collaborates with Area Sales Managers, Plant Managers, and Brokerage Account Managers, and prepares complex proposals on equipment optimization and leasing options. • Prospect and close new B2B sales to meet or exceed budgeted targets • Develop and execute selling and retention strategies to grow billable value • Manage sales pipeline and maintain a comprehensive prospect database • Handle customer cancellations, negotiate contracts, and secure commitments • Ensure solutions comply with local, state, and federal regulations • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers, Plant Managers, and Brokerage Account Managers • Prepare complex proposals and recommend equipment optimization or leasing options • Maintain high customer satisfaction and improve service profitability • Travel across the Montreal area while working from home, with occasional office visits

What You Bring
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED) and at least four years of direct B2B sales, cold‑calling, and prospecting experience. The position requires residence and work eligibility in Canada, bilingual fluency in French and English, a valid driver’s license, and access to a personal vehicle. Benefits
The role operates primarily remotely in Quebec with occasional office days and uses standard office equipment. Compensation includes a base salary of $65,000–$75,000, commission eligibility, and a competitive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, stock purchase plan, pension, paid vacation, holidays, and personal days.
