About the Role
The successful candidate will develop and maintain detailed cost plans, produce executive‑level cost reports, lead procurement and commercial negotiations, manage change control and final accounts, and integrate cost data with schedule and scope. They will also mentor junior team members, ensure compliance with internal business management systems and SOX controls, and provide market‑trend insights to drive value‑engineering and cost‑optimization initiatives. • Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates throughout design and delivery phases. • Produce monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding updates for stakeholders. • Consolidate cost information from design teams, contractors, subcontractors and vendors for validation. • Lead procurement strategy, review contractor pricing, and conduct commercial negotiations. • Manage change control processes, including estimate, negotiation and reconciliation of change orders. • Support cost risk analysis, scenario planning, contingency management and commitment tracking. • Implement robust cost control systems, including Earned Value Management where applicable. • Integrate cost data with project schedule and scope, collaborating with controls and scheduling teams. • Drive value‑engineering initiatives and cost‑optimization strategies based on engineering priorities. • Monitor market trends such as labor, material pricing and escalation, providing timely insights. • Serve as primary client interface, delivering service excellence and executive‑level updates. • Ensure compliance with internal Business Management Systems, company methodologies and SOX controls. • Mentor and coach junior team members to foster a high‑performance culture. • Provide financial management including margin tracking and monthly fee/resource forecasts.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field. • Possess 5–7+ years of cost management/project controls experience in mission‑critical environments. • Preferably have construction consultancy background and understanding of MEP systems for hyperscale data centers. • Demonstrate strong budgeting, financial reporting, procurement and commercial contract expertise. • Hold or be progressing toward RICS accreditation; exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proficient in industry‑standard cost management tools and software with strong analytical abilities.
