About the Role

The Office Engineer will track, review, and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications, and claims when applicable. They will monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports, and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with quantity reports, labor cost analysis, and quarterly profit records. The role also includes managing the project close‑out process, researching solutions to quality‑control issues, and performing quantity take‑offs. • Track and process change proposals, change orders, payment applications, and claims. • Monitor job costs and generate accurate cost and quantity reports. • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with labor cost analysis and quarterly profit records. • Manage project closeout activities and resolve quality‑control issues. • Perform quantity take‑offs for project estimating.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited university and have experience in the civil, building, or infrastructure sector. Prior experience as a field or office engineer is desired, along with knowledge of estimating, scheduling, or AutoCAD. Proficiency with MS Office, Procure, Bluebeam, and strong written and verbal communication skills are required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Have experience in civil, building, or infrastructure projects, preferably as a field or office engineer. • Possess knowledge of estimating, scheduling, or AutoCAD. • Proficient in MS Office, Procure, Bluebeam with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience. WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Office Engineer to join our Brooklyn, NY project location.
