About the Role
The Porter/Yard Worker, also known as a Yard Associate, stations and retrieves equipment on the location’s property, maintains a written maintenance schedule, and may service equipment to meet specifications. What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, experience with common construction and industrial tools, and some training in mechanical equipment repair. Essential skills are effective written and oral communication with customers, basic math abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, general mechanical aptitude, a safety focus, and possibly bilingual capability depending on location needs. • Work in a fast‑paced environment with varied daily tasks • High school diploma or GED preferred • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Training or experience repairing mechanical equipment preferred • Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) • Possess general mechanical aptitude and safety awareness • Bilingual ability (Spanish or other) may be required • Lift 50 lb or more and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and reaching
