About the Role

The role focuses on preparing geotechnical reports, analyzing data, and providing recommendations while meeting project deadlines. It also involves managing construction materials testing (CMT) projects, reviewing daily reports, resolving issues, and training field staff. Additionally, the incumbent prepares proposals, oversees budgets, and handles change orders and invoicing. Project communication includes hosting or attending client meetings to review delivered reports and offer technical solutions. Other duties, under supervision, may include preparing drilling packages, obtaining utility clearances, researching local geologic history, supervising drilling and test pit crews, handling rig access, classifying soil, and assigning laboratory tests. The role also mentors staff project managers and technicians. • Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis, recommendations, and meet deadlines • Manage CMT projects, review daily reports, resolve issues, and train field staff • Develop proposals, control project budgets, and process change orders and invoices • Conduct client meetings to discuss reports and deliver technical solutions • Prepare drilling packages, secure utility clearances, and research local geology • Supervise drilling/test pit crews, address rig access, classify soils, and assign lab tests • Mentor and support staff project managers, assistant managers, and technicians

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required for company travel. • Hold a BS/MS in Civil/Geological Engineering or related field with 2+ years experience • Preferred P.E. or P.G. licensure; maintain valid driver’s license for company travel
