About the Role
The Assembler I builds and wires subassemblies, components, and fixed assemblies for electrical control equipment. Work includes assembling or wiring for test preparation and final inspection, using established power‑checking procedures to verify electrical and mechanical integrity. The role requires following oral or written instructions, handling materials per procedures, performing routine plant equipment maintenance, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications. • Wire, assemble, fit, and mount subassemblies and components for electrical control equipment • Perform assembly/wiring for test preparation and final inspection using power‑checking procedures • Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and codes • Follow oral/written instructions, drawings, and manufacturing information • Handle materials per established procedures and communicate part shortages • Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment and maintain 5S housekeeping standards • Load finished products for shipment and coordinate with carriers

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of manufacturing or assembly experience, and basic computer skills. A degree in a technical discipline and experience with electrical equipment manufacturing, preferably panelboards or switchboards, are preferred. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; active‑duty military members are exempt from geographic limitations. The position requires the ability to lift 35 lb, with reasonable accommodations available. • Lift up to 35 lb (reasonable accommodation provided) • Require high school diploma/GED, 1 year manufacturing/assembly experience, and basic computer skills • Preferred: technical degree and experience with panelboard/switchboard assembly • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; active‑duty military exempt from location limits
