About the Role
The Community Manager oversees all aspects of a housing community’s operations—including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management—under the supervision of a Regional Manager, ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing guidelines. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, performance issues and scheduling. • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols and fair‑housing regulations. • Maximize net operating income through cost control, budgeting, rent collection and vendor invoice management. • Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and financial forecasts. • Create and execute yearly marketing and leasing plans; lead resident showings, lease signings and retention programs. • Address resident complaints and implement satisfaction initiatives, including events and communications. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response coordination and timely completion of maintenance work. • Conduct regular property inspections, manage vendor relationships and ensure quality of repairs and renovations. • Maintain accurate leasing and financial documentation; prepare property close‑out reports for ownership. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency duties.

What You Bring
• Meet education/experience requirements: high school diploma (B.S. preferred), 1‑4 years housing industry experience, CAM/ARM certification preferred. • Possess basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA standards. • Fulfill physical demands such as standing, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders and working in varied weather conditions.

Compensation is based on skill set, experience and certifications and includes a comprehensive total rewards package with medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401(k) matching, commissions, performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays; the salary range is $62,400 per year.
