What You Bring
We are seeking passionate and experienced Tailings Engineers for our globally recognised Tailings and Mine Waste Group in Queensland (Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville). The role involves working on projects that shape the future of mining, delivering ethical and sustainable solutions for tailings storage facilities, mine waste management, and closure designs for dams, waste‑rock dumps, and other critical site features. The position offers work across projects in every Australian state and international assignments, with genuine potential for global mobility as your career grows. It suits site‑based professionals transitioning to consultancy or tailings engineers seeking broader experience in an innovative, collaborative environment, and visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available for suitably experienced international candidates. • Hold a relevant engineering qualification (Civil or Geotechnical). • Demonstrate experience in design and site‑based consultancy activities. • Familiarity with GISTM, ICMM, and ANCOLD guidelines. • Experience managing financial and technical aspects of project delivery. • Exhibit strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.
