About the Role
The Inventory Control Supervisor at Nikkiso Cryoquip oversees all inventory control and material coordination activities within a heavy‑industrial manufacturing environment. The role ensures accuracy, integrity, and availability of raw materials, components, work‑in‑process, and finished goods to support production schedules and operational efficiency, while leading a team of Inventory Clerks and Material Coordinators. The position is based in a warehouse setting where the employee regularly operates material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperatures while maintaining close‑vision tasks and clear communication. • Oversee inventory tracking for raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods. • Manage cycle counts, annual physical inventories, and stock transfers. • Review and approve inventory adjustments and resolve discrepancies. • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safe handling of heavy materials. • Coordinate material movement using forklifts and cranes with production, shipping, receiving, and purchasing teams. • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP records and generate inventory/WIP reports. • Identify root causes of inventory errors and implement process improvements to reduce scrap and shortages. • Enforce OSHA, quality, and regulatory compliance; support related audits. • Supervise, train, and assign tasks to Inventory Clerks and Material Coordinators, monitoring performance metrics.

What You Bring
• Require high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and at least 4 years of manufacturing inventory control experience. • Preferred supervisory experience and expertise in managing WIP inventories and large‑scale material handling. • Demonstrate strong leadership, detail orientation, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; able to work cross‑functionally.

Benefits
Compensation for this full‑time position ranges from $26 to $35 per hour. The supervisor drives process discipline, system accuracy, and continuous improvement across inventory operations, and collaborates with production, shipping, receiving, and purchasing functions.
