About the Role
The Quality Technician Team Lead will guide a team of technicians performing inspection, documentation, and quality verification of aerospace components. This role acts as the primary point of contact between technicians and the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety, and compliance. Candidates should demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. • Lead and support a team of Quality Technicians in inspection, documentation, and verification of aerospace components. • Serve as primary liaison between technicians and the Project Manager, conducting daily stand‑up meetings to assign tasks and address challenges. • Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to enhance technical proficiency and team performance. • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor inspection accuracy, data entry, and logistical movement of parts to maintain resource availability. • Troubleshoot inspection and measurement issues, and assist with root‑cause analyses and CAPA implementation. • Track performance metrics, support reporting, and manage resource allocation and scheduling. • Communicate feedback on team performance and process improvements to management.

Additional benefits comprise short/long‑term disability and a referral program. • Require 3+ years of quality inspection or aerospace manufacturing experience and prior team leadership in a regulated environment. • Possess strong knowledge of GD&T, part drawings, and gaging tools such as calipers and micrometers. • Proficient with SAP (preferred) and Microsoft Office for data entry and reporting. • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills in a fast‑paced setting.

Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year, with compensation based on experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors.
