About the Role

The position requires close collaboration with applied sales and service teams to identify potential customers, participate in sales presentations, and attend review meetings. You will provide technical guidance, analyze cooling and heating loads, assist consultants in designing VRF solutions, and prepare detailed proposals that include system layouts, equipment selection, pricing, and documentation. Ongoing responsibilities include maintaining relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, and developers, serving as the primary contact for technical inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from order to installation and commissioning. • Drive sales of Carrier‑branded Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air‑conditioning systems. • Serve as the technical expert, advising clients on VRF solutions that meet their heating and cooling needs. • Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify prospects, deliver presentations, and conduct sales reviews. • Analyze customer load requirements, design VRF systems, and prepare proposals with layouts, equipment selection, pricing, and documentation. • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, and developers to generate new business opportunities. • Act as primary contact for technical inquiries and coordinate project execution from order through installation and commissioning. • Travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

What You Bring

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales of Carrier‑branded Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air‑conditioning systems. In this role you will act as the technical expert on VRF technology, engage with clients to understand their heating and cooling needs, and offer tailored solutions that meet those requirements. Success will be measured by building lasting customer relationships and achieving sales targets that contribute to the company’s growth. Candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in air‑conditioning and have 7‑10 years of technical sales experience in the HVAC industry, specifically with VRF systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for conveying product information to both technical and non‑technical audiences, and basic knowledge of heat‑load estimation and CAD software is a plus.
