About the Role

In this position you will review design partner deliverables for compliance, support procurement with tender specifications and technical queries, plan and deliver pre‑construction surveys, prepare client approval documentation, act as the primary technical liaison with the client, ensure a smooth handover to operational delivery, manage small‑to‑medium work packages, contribute technical input to project programmes, and capture best practice for continuous improvement. • Review design partner deliverables for contractual, design, and regulatory compliance. • Support procurement by reviewing tender specifications, responding to technical queries, and assessing submissions. • Plan and execute pre‑construction surveys, testing, and inspections to aid design development. • Prepare and review documentation required for client approvals and internal governance. • Act as the primary technical interface with the client, managing technical waivers. • Coordinate a smooth transition from pre‑construction to operational delivery. • Manage and deliver small‑to‑medium work packages for handover to the operational team. • Provide technical input to the project programme and support collaborative planning activities. • Capture, share, and embed best practice to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds an HND/HNC in a MEICA engineering discipline (BEng/MEng desirable), has a strong background in construction or engineering within the water/wastewater sector, possesses valid SMSTS and CSCS cards, and demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, commercial awareness, organization, presentation skills, IT proficiency, a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude, and the ability to work well within a team. • Hold an HND/HNC in a MEICA discipline; BEng/MEng is desirable. • Demonstrated experience in construction/engineering, preferably within water or wastewater sectors. • Valid SMSTS and CSCS cards. • Strong written and verbal communication abilities. • Well‑organized, deadline‑driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities. • Confident in delivering presentations to varied audiences. • Proficient IT and computer skills. • Positive, proactive ‘can‑do’ attitude and effective team player.
