About the Role
The manager will lead and implement a project‑wide SH&E plan, review and oversee subcontractor SH&E plans, monitor compliance through audits and inspections, and conduct incident investigations, reporting, training, and risk‑planning activities. Additional duties include traveling to various project sites, preparing weekly and monthly safety reports, and analyzing incidents to develop corrective actions. • Lead implementation of the project-wide Safety, Health & Environmental plan. • Review, oversee, and audit subcontractor SH&E plans for compliance. • Conduct incident investigations, reporting, training, and risk‑planning activities. • Travel to multiple project sites in Los Angeles County and produce weekly/monthly safety reports. • Analyze incidents and root causes to develop corrective measures.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a talented Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) Manager to join its corporate team. The role involves working on complex environmental projects, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently, and interfacing with clients, employees, subcontractors, and the public across multiple sites in Los Angeles County. Candidates must have at least ten years of safety and health experience, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. A four‑year degree in safety or a related construction field (or equivalent experience), proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, and Adobe tools, HAZOP certification, a CHST or higher accreditation, and a valid driver’s license are required. Desired qualifications include experience overseeing contractors and subcontractors. No security clearance is required for this position. • Bring a minimum of 10 years of safety and health experience. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in safety, construction, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess HAZOP certification and a CHST or higher accreditation. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Adobe Professional. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and strong oral/written communication skills. • Experience overseeing contractors/subcontractors (desired).
