What You Bring

The Digital Energy Project Manager Apprentice role is based in Bristol and is part of Schneider Electric’s UK Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship Programme. It offers a starter salary of £23,000 and is designed to develop future project managers in the energy sector. Essential attributes include a full UK driving licence, the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, clear communication with stakeholders, rapid issue identification and solution development, accuracy in planning and documentation, and effective teamwork with diverse groups. Desirable qualities are an understanding of energy management, confidence in building professional relationships and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment. Applicants must have five GCSEs (including Maths, English and a STEM subject) at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications such as A‑levels, BTEC DDM or T‑levels with relevant maths content. No prior experience is required, and the role is open to candidates currently working towards their driving licence.

The apprenticeship combines on‑the‑job training delivered by Schneider Electric with off‑the‑job learning provided by an accredited training provider. Protected off‑the‑job time (at least 20 % of working hours) ensures you acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard, complemented by mentoring, performance reviews and wellbeing support. A standard work week is 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday, with start and finish times agreed with your line manager. Certain hours will be allocated to the off‑the‑job training component of the programme.
