About the Role
The Senior Technical Coordinator will manage and coordinate the external consultant team through all stages of project procurement—from land and planning through to sales and adoptions—while supporting the internal project team. The role ensures all disciplines are aligned, checks layout drawings and supplier details, assists in obtaining Building Regulation approvals, and resolves any issues arising from external consultants. Internal applicants should inform their line manager if they wish to apply for this role. • Manage preparation of information for clearing planning conditions. • Coordinate consultants to avoid conflicts or maintenance issues during construction. • Ensure planning applications meet Operational Framework Requirements and internal good‑practice guidance. • Attend internal and external meetings to support planning submissions. • Manage fees budget according to regional conventions throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare, submit and secure Building Regulations approvals. • Arrange preparation of all working drawings and supporting information for tendering. • Assess and approve supplier and manufacturer information, including renewable energy requirements. • Obtain assessments and ensure compliance with HQI, Lifetime Homes, Building for Life, DQS, etc. • Secure structural assessment of house‑type drawings by approved consultants. • Review technical content of sales literature for compliance with drawings and Consumer Code. • Deliver issues and work to tight deadlines and programmes. • Manage external consultant team and ensure deadline compliance.

What You Bring
• Clear Building Regulations conditions to deliver CMLs within regional budget. • Understand environmental constraints and implement mitigation for development alignment. • Extensive knowledge of the full development and technical process; prior Technical Coordinator or Manager experience preferred. • Industry‑related qualification. • Working towards or holding RICS, CIOB, ICE or RIBA accreditation. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and programme accurately. • Initiative‑driven with strong communication and teamwork skills.
