About the Role

The engineer will own assigned control system functions and interfaces, provide technical guidance to a small engineering team, and collaborate with a global community to ensure high‑quality technical outcomes throughout the product lifecycle. • Collaborate with teams and customers to develop electrical, electronics, and mechatronics control system requirements, designs, and verification artifacts for safety‑critical applications following ARP4754A and DO‑178C. • Lead a cross‑functional team to uphold high standards of technical capability, quality, professionalism, and teamwork. • Provide engineering and process guidance, conduct training, and create documentation for control system development. • Prepare, review, and ensure completeness of technical documentation and work products. • Resolve complex technical problems using acquired experience and knowledge.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, have at least 2 years of product development experience, be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and possess requirements‑management expertise. • Communicate complex technical ideas concisely and logically. • Minimum 2 years product development experience; 5 + years preferred. • Experience with agile development methods and delivery of engineering work products. • Background in military qualification or FAA certification of airborne systems, preferably with gas‑turbine or propulsion control experience. • Proficiency with control system design and analysis tools; model‑based development using MATLAB/Simulink or similar. • Knowledge of systems engineering, robust design tools, and model‑centric development approaches. • Familiarity with SysML modelling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw) or equivalents. • U.S. citizen or permanent resident status required.
