About the Role
BGIS seeks a Sites Supervisor (Data Center) in McCarran, NV to oversee physical and virtual infrastructure of raised floor data centers, driving best practices and standards while serving as both manager and individual contributor. In the People Leadership area, the Supervisor guides team members toward full potential, manages staffing with recruiting, facilitates onboarding and training, provides coaching, performance reviews, and recommends compensation adjustments while ensuring compliance with policies. Account Management duties include maintaining client relationships, identifying new business, planning raised‑floor issues, overseeing budgets and vendor contracts, establishing performance benchmarks, coordinating with internal and client teams, managing shift schedules, and aligning space, power, and cooling requirements. Data Center Operations responsibilities cover maintaining DCIM floor plans, overseeing physical cabling and connectivity, processing customer requests, delivering equipment design and build‑out services, monitoring KPI reports, enforcing SOPs, maintaining security and safety protocols, auditing documentation, handling moves/adds/changes, and managing hardware asset inventory. • Lead and develop data‑center support team through coaching, performance reviews, and career planning. • Manage staffing: recruit, interview, hire, and schedule personnel for shift coverage. • Maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services. • Create and oversee data‑center budgets, approve expenditures, and negotiate vendor contracts. • Establish and track performance benchmarks and generate operational reports. • Coordinate space, power, and cooling planning with clients and facilities teams. • Update and maintain raised‑floor layouts using DCIM tools. • Plan and implement physical cabling, structured cabling, and equipment design/build‑out. • Process customer requests for cages, power whips, and structured cabling installations. • Monitor and report KPI metrics on service availability, capacity utilization, and performance. • Ensure SOPs, training materials, security protocols, and safety procedures are enforced. • Conduct documentation audits, QA checklist completion, and asset inventory management. • Perform IT hardware troubleshooting, moves/adds/changes, and server project deliveries. • Provide tape operations support and oversee daily error‑log reporting and inspections. • Apply advanced knowledge of Windows, UNIX, mainframe, and electrical infrastructure in daily tasks.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a college degree or technical certification in a related field, have at least five years of data‑center management experience, and possess strong communication, leadership, and technical skills including DCIM tools, copper/fiber installation, Windows/UNIX, mainframe, and electrical concepts. The role requires willingness to travel, a valid driver’s license, 24/7 on‑call availability, ability to work flexible shifts, and physical capability to navigate uneven terrain, heights, ladders, and confined spaces while distinguishing colors and hearing audible signals.
